based on the Sherlock infrared imaging spectrometer, a multi-component system embedded in a single instrument consisting of an infrared camera which incorporates a patented IMSS lens and an imbedded computer that can perform the function of data logging, imaging spectroscopy, and digital video recording. Three of the products that can be used by the oil, gas, chemical and power industry are Sherlock VOC, Sherlock SF6, and Sherlock FE.

This is what you see when you look through the Sherlock at a gas leak. Those gases are invisible to the naked eye, but they are very harmful to people. However, as you can see, they are very easy for the Sherlock to see, which means you can fix chemical leaks very quickly at your facilities before they turn into major life-threatening disasters.
